In the early 1990’s Mrs Moller bought the business of Theo’s Palms on the corner of Stormvoel Road and Anna Wilson – the legacy of which still lives on in numerous noteworthy palms on the grounds- and started a new beacon in the Moot.
The gates opened on a new- and in those days the only- garden centre in the area. Over time Nico Thuynsma, son-in-law came on board and the new owner team started developing the new nursery into a reliable family-owned business on which generations depend for trusted gardening advice and a variety of old favourites as well as new and trendy varieties.
Over the years we introduced specialist plant lines to provide the community with a variety of gardening and hobby plants as well as the knowledge and skills to care for all types of gardens , including protea & fynbos, fruit trees and orchids.
Two full-time horticulturists ensure the quality care of our plants and sourcing of a wide variety of well-known must-have’s as well as providing specialist knowledge on garden care.
Thanks to the continued support of our clients from across the Gauteng region, we are still here and strive to keep providing quality plants, excellent advice and reliable service.
